Description

At WTW, our Finance function plays a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of stakeholders—from internal teams and client organizations to shareholders, financial institutions, and regulators. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Finance to lead financial operations for Western Europe Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) and support the Europe Geography. This role is primarily focused on our Corporate Risk & Broking business in Western Europe (90%) with a broader remit across the European region (10%).

As a key member of the Global Finance Leadership Team, you will provide critical financial, analytical, and strategic guidance to senior business leaders, driving performance and growth across the region.

The Role
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Head of CRB Western Europe and the Head of Europe Geography.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and month/quarter-end close processes.
  • Oversee full P&L management, revenue recognition, and performance reporting across multiple countries and specialty lines.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing Finance team across various European locations.
  • Collaborate with business and finance leadership to identify growth opportunities, address performance challenges, and shape long-term strategy.
  • Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and value realization.
  • Drive operational excellence and contribute to the evolution of the Finance Operating Model across regions and business lines.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales Ops, HR) to deliver impactful monthly and quarterly business reviews.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Operations, or Business Development, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven financial and business acumen with progressive responsibility across commercial models and risk & broking environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and data tools; ability to guide teams in data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in matrixed organizations and cross-regional collaboration.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and materiality in financial reporting.
