Job description

Axon Moore are engaged on a search for a Head of Finance for a large scale, fast-paced business in the West Yorkshire region.

This is a high profile role within the organisation, with close interaction with the CFO, the board and senior leaders within the business.

Due to the ambitions of the business, there are significant progression opportunities for this individual, and they will play a key role in driving growth and adding value to the overall business and their profitability.

They will also lead a large team, so leadership experience will be key in this appointment.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Oversee day to day operational accounting and financial processes/activities including AP, AR, Treasury
  • Manage day to day cashflow, liquidity and working capital
  • Seek out efficiencies in terms of systems, processes and cost savings
  • Ensure accounting activity complies with relevant regulations
  • Oversee internal controls and processes
  • Act as a key stakeholder and leader in the business across other areas of the business
  • Manage complexity within a data rich environment involving high volumes of transactions
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified Finance Leader, with experience in a financial leadership role in a large scale, commercial organisation
