Head of Finance / Senior Finance Manager

Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to play a key role in the success of our organisation?

Responsibilities

The Head of Finance / Senior Finance Manager is a key role within our organisation, taking ownership for overseeing the finances of the organisation. We are looking for an experienced accountant (qualified, qualified by experience, or qualified AAT) who is keen to use their skills and experience in a senior accounting role for the charity.

  • Oversee one member of staff fulfilling bookkeeping functions and provide coverage when necessary.
  • Work with the CEO and Treasurer (a Trustee) to oversee the finances of the charity.
  • Manage and improve the finance processes and systems to reduce risk.
  • Prepare reports, budgets and forecasts for the management team and Board of Trustees and external funders.
  • Manage the annual audit process and preparation of the year end accounts.
