Amerge is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. This role is critical in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance, optimizing financial performance, and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial management principles.

Working closely with senior leadership, the Head of Finance will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making to support the company's long-term objectives.

  • Financial Leadership: Set financial targets, develop policies, and oversee financial planning
  • Budget Management: Plan, monitor, and control company budgets to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, ensure tax compliance, and oversee internal controls
  • Audit & Compliance: Lead internal audits, ensure adherence to financial laws, and optimize financial IT systems
  • Cash Flow & Liquidity: Monitor liquidity, working capital, and cash reserves for smooth financial operations
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct financial forecasting, KPI tracking, and scenario planning for growth strategies
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop finance staff to ensure high performance and motivation
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide financial guidance to leadership, managers, and staff to support company objectives
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred
  • Experience: 6+ years of proven track record in senior finance leadership roles, preferably in fast-paced environments
  • Skills: Strong financial forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning abilities
  • Compliance: Deep understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax laws
  • Leadership: Excellent team management, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Technically proficient: Experience with financial IT systems and digital finance tools. Experience with the PowerBI suite of tools (or similar) preferred but not required.
