PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £90,000 - £110,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting and up to 25% bonus, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

The Head of Finance within Content Finance plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the long‑term financial strategy for BBC Studios' Content business. The role ensures alignment between financial priorities and strategic objectives, driving operational excellence, robust financial control and a culture of continuous improvement. The role delivers financial and strategic leadership in business areas which have high levels of complexity in terms of staff management, budgetary responsibility and major project activity.
You’ll be leading a high‑performing finance team, ensuring the delivery of accurate reporting, insightful analysis and effective financial management that supports creative and commercial decision‑making across BBC Content. This role develops and leads a culture which is focused on delivering benefits and value to the business and in ensuring the BBC delivers best value—creating value today through robust control and risk management and adding future value through effective investment management support and advice. You’ll work with other finance and business leaders to make financial decisions that deliver the best outcomes for the BBC as one organisation.
The role requires a skill set combining technical expertise, strategic insight and people management.
