This is a senior leadership role reporting into the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for shaping financial strategy, driving commercial performance and ensuring strong financial governance across the organisation.
Leading and developing the finance and commercial team, driving engagement and improvement
Delivering financial strategy, annual budgets and strategic advice to the CEO and ELT
Producing accurate reporting, forecasting and financial models for ELT and Board decisions
Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, audit standards and government frameworks
Overseeing annual accounts, external audit, procurement and commercial policy compliance
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIPFA, ACCA or CIMA) with senior-level experience
Proven leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to deliver operational excellence
Skilled in budgeting, costing models and financial analysis
Excellent communicator with strong collaboration skills and commitment to inclusion
Hybrid working- 2 days per week in the Sheffield office
