Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking a CCAB-qualified finance leader to drive quality financial management and lead the finance team. You will oversee reporting, monthly balance sheet reviews and ensure timely information for decision makers.

The role requires five years’ post-qualification experience, advanced Excel skills, and a forward-thinking approach to improve processes with AI and automation while staying commercially aware and highly organized.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified with at least five years’ post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing a Finance team in FE or similar.
• Experience managing computerized accounting systems and monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Advanced Excel skills including project accounting, costing products and viability assessment.
• Forward-thinking approach to improving financial processes using AI and automation.
• Commercially minded, highly organized and able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
