Job summary

Leicestershire Police is seeking a Head of Finance at Force Headquarters in Enderby to lead financial strategy and resources. You will oversee revenue, capital accounts and management, and develop efficient financial services including payroll, payments, income control and banking.

CCAB qualified with post-qualification senior-level experience is required, along with a track record in planning, budgets and financial information systems.

Qualifications

• You must be CCAB qualified.
• Post-qualification experience in a financial management post at senior level in a large organisation.
• Experience of preparing plans/budgets and financial information systems.

Responsibilities

• You will have responsibility of the force's revenue, capital accounts & management.
• You will develop and maintain efficient financial services including payroll, creditor payments, income control and banking.
• You will advise staff and the senior management team and ensure appropriate procedures are compliant with taxation legislation including Tax/National Insurance and VAT.
