JMC Legal Recruitment seeks an experienced Head of Family in Manchester to lead the department and drive ambitious growth. The role focuses on international HNW/UHNW matters, complex financial remedies, and high-net-worth divorce work.
You will work with an established team and client base, delivering top-tier advice while building the practice and recruiting future talent on a platform designed for growth.
A rare and compelling opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to step into a head of department role at a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial firm with Legal 500 recognition and serious ambitions to grow, handling complex HNW and UHNW work that is often international in nature.
An ambitious and fast-growing firm that has built a strong reputation across the North West legal market, attracting partners from leading national and regional practices who are looking for something different. Autonomy, realistic targets and the resources to build a thriving practice without the bureaucracy that holds lawyers back at larger firms.
The firm's model is proven, with multiple partners having joined and significantly expanded their client bases and teams, backed by genuine long term investment. Legal 500 recognised and continuing to grow, this is a platform that gives ambitious lawyers the freedom and support to do their best work.
You will lead and shape the Family department, working closely alongside a highly regarded partner with a strong focus on international HNW and UHNW clients. The department handles complex, high value work and has built a reputation for delivering at a level that rivals much larger practices.
You will step into a warm position with an established team around you, a strong referral network and an existing client base to build from. Work spans complex financial remedy and divorce proceedings, high net worth private client family matters with international considerations, international relocation matters and cohabitation disputes.
The firm's infrastructure and support will allow you to focus on delivering first-class advice and growing your practice, with a genuine platform to recruit and expand the team over time.
