A leading legal practice is seeking an experienced Head of Family Law to lead their Oxfordshire team. This role offers autonomy, high-quality work, and a pathway to partnership for ambitious family lawyers looking to advance their careers.
Job title: Head of Family
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £65k-£95k - depending on experience
PQE Level: 8+
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
My client is seeking an experienced lawyer to become a new Head of Family Law and to lead and develop this well-established regional team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior family solicitor ready to take the next step into a leadership position, offering genuine autonomy, high-quality work, and the chance to shape the department's future.
You will oversee a mid-sized team of talented lawyers, providing strategic direction, mentoring, and day-to-day management to ensure continued success. While a following isn't required, a strong network and a solid business case would be advantageous.
This role is ideal for ambitious family lawyers who may feel restricted in their current firm and are looking for a clear pathway to partnership. If you have the leadership skills, commercial awareness, and drive to guide an already strong team to even greater success, this firm wants to hear from you.
