Hugh Baird College in Liverpool is seeking a Head of Faculty to lead the Higher Skills portfolio, driving teaching excellence and student achievement across the college's Higher Education provision.

You'll shape curriculum, set standards, mentor teaching staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to secure ambitious outcomes, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent role with generous holiday and staff benefits.

About the Role

As Head of Faculty, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a facility creating a culture where high expectations, innovation and collaboration thrive.

Lead the implementation of all objectives specific to the role in key areas:

• Meeting learner achievement and progress targets in line with College KPIs across the provision within scope
• Meeting targets pertaining to learner attendance and punctuality in line with agreed KPIs.
• Meeting targets related to learner progress including achievement of high grades and progress, value added and other relevant performance measure
• Meeting targets determined by the Access & Participation Plan
• Development of the faculty business plan, curriculum offer and future delivery in response to learner, community, employer and skills needs
