Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Head of Faculty to lead the Business and Digital provision in a further education setting. You will shape curriculum strategy, drive learner outcomes and oversee performance across the area, balancing strategic direction with operational leadership of staff and resources.

• Significant recent experience leading post-16 or further education curriculum provision.
• Experience at curriculum manager, head of department, head of faculty or similar level.
• Strong knowledge of FE curriculum planning, quality and funding.
• Experience of managing staff, budgets and performance.
• Proven track record of improving teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
• Full teaching qualification or working towards one.

Are you an experienced further education curriculum leader with a strong background in business, digital or IT?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in London, leading the business and digital faculty and taking responsibility for the quality of curriculum delivery, learner outcomes and continuous improvement across the area.

You'll provide both strategic and operational leadership, managing teaching staff and curriculum managers, and using performance data to shape planning and drive improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the business and digital curriculum.
• Line managing, supporting and developing curriculum managers and teaching staff.
• Driving learner recruitment, retention, achievement and progression.
• Leading quality improvement and performance against key targets.
• Overseeing curriculum planning, development and growth.
• Managing staffing, resources and faculty budgets.
• Using data and performance information to identify and act on areas for improvement.
• Working with employers and stakeholders to develop relevant provision.

What We're Looking For
