Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Head of Events in Winchester to lead a prestigious venue. You will manage the events team, drive guest experience, and align operations with commercial goals.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, coordinating with sales and marketing to maximise bookings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the venue team to maintain outstanding service.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to optimise bookings and revenue opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure excellent guest experiences.
• Coordinate with accommodation, maintenance, catering and events teams for seamless client journeys.
• Maintain high venue standards and plan future improvements.
• Ensure health, safety, contracts and licenses are compliant and up to date.
• Prepare and manage budgets and business reporting; identify growth opportunities.

Lead a stunning luxury venue, shape the team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Based in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, this is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Events to take the day-to-day lead at a unique and highly regarded venues. You'll connect people, operations, commercial performance and the overall vision, helping to maintain the venue's reputation for outstanding service.

Working as Head of Events in Winchester, you'll be hands-on, visible and central to the continued development of the venue, leading a passionate team and driving high standards across every area of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the venue team, creating a positive and high-performing culture
• Work alongside Sales and Marketing to maximise bookings and identify new business opportunities
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure consistently high customer service standards
• Work closely with accommodation, maintenance, catering and Events teams to deliver a seamless client journey
• Maintain high standards across the venue, coordinating maintenance and future improvement works
• Ensure Health & Safety documentation, venue contracts and licences remain compliant and up to date
• Prepare and manage budgets, profit and loss, and business reportingIdentify opportunities to improve performance, revenue and the overall customer experience
