Job summary

West Exe School is seeking a Leader of English to drive a high-quality, knowledge-rich English curriculum for all students. You will lead the English department, model outstanding teaching, and raise attainment across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will support staff development and work closely with senior leaders to deliver an ambitious vision for literacy and oracy. We are looking for an experienced, collaborative leader who brings energy and warmth to the school community.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading an English department.
• Strong knowledge of KS3/KS4 English curriculum and assessment.
• Ability to model high-quality teaching and improve student outcomes.
