Job summary

SwitchTT in London is seeking a Head of Engineering to own technology direction, team growth, and the product roadmap. You will lead a high-scale SaaS platform used by global customers, shaping architecture and engineering culture while partnering with product and sales to drive value.

The role is hybrid (London hub) with two days per week in the office and an opportunity to influence the business direction as the team expands from 10+ engineers to 15–20.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering in high-scale product-led environments
• Evidence of leading technology architecture and strategy from the front
• Proven track record in improving engineering culture
• Experience implementing and delivering career frameworks
• Led teams of 10+ engineers and scaled to 15–20
• Experience with cloud-native technologies at scale, ideally AWS

Responsibilities

• Own technology direction, architecture, and roadmap for the product
• Lead and scale engineering teams from 10+ to 15–20 engineers
• Drive engineering culture and implement career frameworks

SwitchTT are partnered with a B2B SaaS start up who after 3 years are closing in on profitability, hiring for a Head of Engineering to take ownership of strategy, direction and greenfield product development. You'll be working on a product used by some of the largest B2B SaaS businesses automating processes and improving efficiencies and in turn revenue.

As the Head of Engineering you'll steer a highly collaborative team who are about to double in size, who are constantly learning and evolving, working on product features. Not only will this role take ownership of the team, technology decision making and strategy but offers the chance to contribute to the business direction.

With an extensive list of feature requests from existing customers as well as, onboarding new larger customers - this is an excellent time to be joining for someone with ambitious career goals.

Head of Engineering requirements

• 7+ years' of software engineering experience working within high scale product led environments
