Job summary

Orange Quarter is seeking a Head of Engineering (or Tech Lead/Engineering Manager) to own the technical strategy and roadmap as the startup scales. You will partner with the founders to shape the platform that connects disparate systems and data, and you will lead a small but growing team.

This role suits someone who thrives in early-stage environments, embraces ownership, and can think strategically about technology choices.

Qualifications

• Comfortable setting strategy and roadmap, not only execution.

My client are an early-stage, backed startup building adaptive infrastructure for complex operations — connecting the systems and data organisations already have, instead of asking them to rip everything out. Proven in one of the toughest environments for this kind of problem, now expanding across industries.

Title is Head of Engineering, but we're open to Tech Leads, Engineering Managers, or above who are ready for this scope.

• Technical roadmap and strategy, working directly with the founders
• Growing and shaping a team of 4 (soon 7)
• A fast-moving environment where the latest tools are used to help engineers build at speed
