We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as Head of Digital Products to join our Customer Experience Leadership team within Pensions & Savings.

Who are we?

We want to be the best place that any of our 6,600 colleagues have ever worked.

We’re Phoenix Group, a long‑term savings and retirement business. We offer a range of products across our market‑leading brands, Standard Life, SunLife, Phoenix Life and ReAssure. Around 1 in 5 people in the UK has a pension with us. We’re a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we’re not done yet.

The role

Are you ready to lead digital transformation at scale? As Head of Digital Products at Phoenix Group, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering cutting‑edge digital services for over 12 million customers, advisers, and employers. You’ll be accountable for the various digital products we offer to both end consumers and B2B audiences, driving a bold strategy that aligns with our purpose and commercial goals.

This is a high‑impact leadership role where you’ll champion a shift to a customer experience‑led business. You’ll harness the power of digital innovation, omni‑channel capabilities, automation, AI, and data‑driven personalisation to create seamless, intuitive experiences. Leading a talented team of digital experts, you’ll collaborate across trading channels, divisional functions, and Group Technology to build a modern, digital‑first ecosystem that sets new standards in our industry.

If you're passionate about transforming digital journeys and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.

What are we looking for?
  • Visionary Digital Strategist – A proven ability to define and deliver a future‑focused digital strategy at pace, including decisions on in‑house vs. third‑party delivery models, while aligning with customer, competitor, and marketing insights.
  • Omni‑Channel Transformation Leader – Experience leading large‑scale transformation to a digital‑first, omni‑channel service model, with a strong focus on automation, self‑service, and mobile capabilities.
  • Customer Data & Personalisation Expert – Deep expertise in customer data strategy and insight development, enabling personalised, data‑driven experiences that elevate customer engagement across digital touchpoints.
  • Centre of Excellence Builder – Demonstrated success in establishing high‑performing digital teams and capabilities, delivering seamless end‑to‑end customer journeys and managing digital assets through scalable design systems.
  • Collaborative Change Agent – Skilled in cross‑functional leadership and governance, with the ability to work across business units and senior stakeholders to drive innovation, streamline digital estates, and ensure programme success.
We want to hire the whole version of you

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
