Job summary

Prism Digital seeks a Head of DevOps to lead a 40-strong DevOps function in a hybrid London setup. You will oversee Azure/CI/CD pipelines, automation leadership and governance within a regulated UK insurer environment, driving modernisation across on-site and remote teams.

You will focus on people, delivery and direction rather than pipelines, with responsibility for strategy, budget and vendor management in a growing, regulated setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years across DevOps and tooling or automation.
• Leadership of a sizeable DevOps function across UK and India.
• DevOps delivered inside development teams, not pure infra.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Third-party and vendor management.
• Enterprise/in-house background, not offshore outsourcer.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end DevOps function for a 40-person team on UK insur er platform.
• Set operating model, budget (£1–£1.5m) and strategic direction.
• Drive strategy, roadmap and major programme delivery.
• Oversee vendor and partner management.
• Lead UK and India teams, aligning delivery with developers.
