Job summary

Linnaeus is seeking a Dermatology Specialist to join our state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in the UK. The role offers the chance to grow a dedicated dermatology service within a multidisciplinary team, supporting clinicians and technicians in delivering outstanding patient care.

Applicants should have completed a dermatology residency or be a recognised specialist, with MRCVS membership or eligibility and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised residency programme in dermatology or be a recognised dermatology specialist.
• Must be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or eligible to apply.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Help shape and grow the dermatology service within the hospital.
• Collaborate with Specialists in a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide high-quality patient care with support from veterinary nurses and diagnostics.

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Dermatology Specialist to join our team working within our stunning, purpose-built, state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital.

This role will provide a unique opportunity to:

• Continue to build on our strong referral caseload and shape our dermatology service
• Work alongside Specialists in our established multidisciplinary team
• Deliver exceptional patient care to our varied and challenging dermatology caseload with the support of experienced veterinary nurses and advanced diagnostics.

The successful applicant should have completed a recognised residency programme in dermatology or be a recognised specialist in dermatology. Candidates must also be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or be eligible to apply for MRCVS status.

Applicants should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills; a very good command of spoken and written English is essential. The successful candidate must be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team that is dedicated to the provision of the highest possible level of care for our patients, clients, and referring veterinary surgeons.
