In this role you will:
  • Design MI, governance fora, templates and local governance to enable deposit decisions to be considered and agreed.
  • Maintain oversight of daily deposit book movements, monitor market movement and development and the implication for PBUK’s deposit book and income.
  • Liaise with counterparts in HBUK, and GPB&W to ensure any pricing anomalies are considered and ensure a framework is in place which can respond effectively to changing market conditions.
  • Negotiate and agree PBUK deposit treatment with ALCM (Asset, Liability, and Capital Management) on PBUK’s behalf including behaviouralisation and liquidity value / cost treatment of PBUK deposit, which have a material impact on PBUK’s deposit NII.
  • Collaborate with WPB counterparts to ensure deposit pricing makes sense for clients across the WPB continuum including investment accounts.
  • Act as the business representative for deposit dealing platform and the daily deposit bookings.
  • Responsible for designing platform upgrades to cater bank / market wide developments such as IBOR migration, Avaloq migration etc.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Extensive Finance & Deposits Management working background - essential
  • Wealth Management experience - essential
  • Investments product knowledge - desirable
  • Excellent leaderships skills and proven line management track record - essential
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of the Private Banking & Wealth Management competitor landscape - essential
