Head of Department - Mathematics

Salary: Leadership Scale L10-L12

£64,688 to £67,897 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of our Mathematics Department. We are looking to appoint a Head Mathematics who is committed to ensuring our young people are equipped with the maths skills, fluency and reasoning to be successful and make accelerated progress in mathematics. We are looking for an ambitious, inspirational, committed Head of Department who has a proven track record of increasing outcomes for young people in maths, and is passionate about their subject.

This position would suit an experienced Head of Department, or someone new to post who has experience as a postholder in a successful mathematics department. The successful candidate will be mentored and supported by our Deputy Headteacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school and staff body who put students at the centre of all we do. You will be joining a team that is committed, welcoming, supportive and friendly.
