A leading media organization is seeking a Head of Data People Analytics & Insights to lead their data transformation and strategic initiatives. This high-impact role requires a visionary leader to develop data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building high-performing teams, driving data transformation initiatives, and enhancing workforce data capabilities. The position is based in the UK with weekly travel to Birmingham required.
People Analytics & Insights at the BBC is a fast-evolving capability and a key enabler of our Enterprise Data Strategy. As Head of Data People Analytics & Insights reporting to the BBC People Services Director you will lead the next phase of our people data transformation; developing strategic data-driven solutions that support organisational HR and enterprise-wide priorities. As such you will ensure that our people data is trusted interoperable and designed as a high-value data product.
Purpose of the role
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a visionary data leader who can balance technical depth strategic influence and product thinking. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the BBC to position HR as a driver of organisational transformation and ensure our people data capabilities are trusted scalable and future-ready. You’ll also be responsible for leading developing and growing a high-performing team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous learning. Your leadership will be key to building capability driving performance and ensuring the team is empowered to deliver meaningful insights and value.
