? Head of Data Science & Analytics

? Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

? Full-Time | Permanent

? Up to £120,000 + benefits

Join one of the world’s largest independent media and entertainment groups, home to iconic brands across audio, publishing, and digital.

This new Head of Data Science & Analytics role will lead a growing UK-based function within the Audio Division, acting as a strategic partner across digital, revenue, and marketing. You'll help shape the organisation’s data vision while leading on predictive modelling, experimentation, and insight delivery at scale.

? What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and lead a team of data scientists, analysts, and BI engineers
  • Own the strategy for how data is used to drive growth, engagement, and commercial outcomes
  • Deliver predictive models to optimise audience targeting, content strategy, and advertising revenue
  • Develop analytics products and tooling to support multiple business units
  • Act as a key point of contact for European stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Translate complex data into actionable insight for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Python
  • Proven experience building and deploying statistical and predictive models
  • Experience leading high-performing data science or advanced analytics teams
  • Track record of influencing strategy through data
  • Engaging, collaborative, and able to lead with clarity and confidence
