Job summary

News UK in the UK leads a strategic data and insights function for News Broadcasting. You will head a team across talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Talk, Times Radio and related properties to drive audience growth and inform product and commercial decisions.

You will shape analytics, collaborate with technology and marketing, and champion AI and advanced insights to improve engagement and monetisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in media analytics and audience measurement.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven capability to lead senior stakeholders and teams.
• Familiarity with AI and modern analytics approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead data strategy for News Broadcasting across brands.
• Retain and develop a high‑performing data and insight team.
• Manage external audience measurement tools (RAJAR, JNLR).
• Collaborate with tech/marketing to drive customer strategy.
• Oversee analytics reporting across streaming, web, video, and registrations.
• Champion best practice tools and self-serve data initiatives.
• Promote AI usage to enhance data mining and insights.
