Job summary

You will lead data engineering teams, drive cloud modernisation and data governance, and partner with product and analytics leaders to deliver scalable data solutions that support risk assessment and operational efficiency.

The role spans US and UK teams, emphasising governance, AI adoption, and strategic technology direction.

• Strong leadership of data engineering teams
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modernisation
• Proven ability to drive data governance, security and regulatory compliance
• Track record delivering enterprise data products at scale
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor UK&I Data Engineering teams across US and UK
• Drive cloud migration, modernisation, and governance practices
• Oversee delivery of data products, ingestion pipelines, reporting, and customer-facing capabilities
• Partner with Product, Analytics, Architecture, Operations and Business Leaders
• Ensure alignment with long-term technology strategy while delivering results
• Support career development and workforce planning
• Foster knowledge sharing and engineering excellence across regions
