Job Description:

Our client is seeking an interim Head of Credit Risk with strong mortgages experience. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• A career history in mortgages
• Practical experience managing credit risk through the credit lifecycle
• Experience with expert and judgmental lending approaches, as well as portfolio/modelled approaches
• Experience developing and embedding risk management frameworks and collaborating with internal and external partners
• Experience enhancing management information capabilities for oversight and decision-making
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment related to credit risk and understanding of UK banking/financial market trends and upcoming regulations
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience presenting to Boards, non-executive directors, or regulators
• Ability to promote a positive risk culture within teams
