About this opportunity:

Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I) is passionate about redefining the Insurance and Pensions market through crafting new digital and market leading propositions focused on delivering amazing experiences for our customers. Our business needs to change and grow at pace to ensure we remain relevant today and tomorrow in an increasingly driven, volatile and digitally led environment.

  • Control Environment: Design, implement, and enhance a fully automated, sustainable, and scalable control environment to meet strategic and regulatory objectives.
  • Customer Experience: Support the business in achieving a leading end-to-end customer experience by influencing, innovating, and inspiring change at pace.
  • Risk Management: Develop effective, ongoing risk-based, data-led control testing and monitoring with risk specialist teams, Audit, and external regulators.

  • Continuous Improvement: Own the mapping, innovation, and continuous improvement of key risks and controls across business processes and customer lifecycle outcomes.

Why Lloyds Banking Group:

What you'll need:

  • Leadership and a solution focused: proven track record of building, leading and inspiring an engaged, diverse, solution focused and high performing team both on and offshore.
  • Influence and commercial approach: experience of building automated controls which are sustainable and scalable, mitigate challenges and drive good customer outcomes.
  • Risk and Control Management: Strong risk management, control by design, governance and regulatory knowledge, either within LBG or gained externally.
  • Innovation/Transformation: experience of transforming and changing businesses sustainably, with a particular focus on using data to provide insights, leverage technologies, process reengineering, innovation and cost of control.
  • People management: excellent interpersonal and presentational skills. This also includes the ability to work across different Group functions to ensure IP&I is represented.
  • Knowledge of Insurance, Pensions & Investments: previous experience and knowledge of insurance, investments, pensions and the technology landscape will provide a strong foundation for the role and support delivering solutions and stakeholder engagement.
  • Agility and growth mindset; proactively identify and resolve challenges and lead ad hoc control focused initiatives which support the growth of the business, including targeted testing. Be comfortable shaping solutions and dealing with ambiguity as you develop what good looks like.
