Job summary

Head of Contracts role at LHH Recruitment Solutions in South West London, hybrid working, approx. 20 hours per week. Seeks an experienced commercial lawyer with 5+ years PQE to own a broad contracts portfolio and advise at senior level.

You will lead drafting, reviewing and negotiating key agreements, manage risk, and drive smarter contracting through AI and legal technology, reporting to the COO.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with approx 5+ years PQE.
• Strong commercial contracts experience.
• Comfortable acting as sole counsel.
• Hybrid, South West London location.

Job description

We’re recruiting for aHead of Contracts opportunity that could be ideal for an experienced commercial lawyer who wants to maintain a high-level, influential role while working on a flexible part time basis

This is a senior, autonomous position where you’ll take ownership of a varied commercial contracts portfolio, work closely with senior stakeholders and provide pragmatic legal and commercial advice across the business. The role reports directly to the COO.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
• Leading negotiations with customers, suppliers and partners
• Advising the business on contractual and commercial risk
• Data protection and DPO responsibilities
• Helping drive smarter, more efficient contracting through AI and legal technology

We’re looking for a qualified solicitor with approx 5+ years’ PQE, strong commercial contracts experience and the confidence to operate as sole counsel. You’ll be commercial, pragmatic and comfortable dealing with complex issues and senior stakeholders.

Location: South West London / Hybrid

Hours: Approx. 20 hours per week, across 5 days
