Qualifications

• Deep understanding of UK regulation with expert knowledge of FCA requirements; PRA knowledge is a plus.
• Skilled at shaping regulatory direction and guiding senior leaders to make well-informed, risk-aware decisions.
• Proven ability to drive meaningful influence across the organisation, shaping decisions at the highest level.
• Anticipates regulatory shifts, assesses emerging risks, and translates developments into actionable strategies.
• Distils complex regulations into clear, practical insights for diverse audiences.
• Applies sound judgment, escalates effectively, and influences outcomes with credibility and confidence.
• Balances regulatory compliance with commercial ambition through pragmatic, proportionate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead a proactive, solutions-focused Compliance Advisory function.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, embedding compliance into strategic decision-making.
• Provide clear, risk-based, and commercially aware guidance.
• Integrate early in change programmes, product development, and strategic initiatives.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing advisory team.
• Represent the function at executive forums and ensure compliance perspectives shape discussions.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships internally and externally.
