Overview

We are looking for a Head of Communications to join the regional Brand & Communications team. This role leads internal and external communications planning and delivery to support Sodexo Live! UK&I growth ambitions and to be seen as an employer of choice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership to articulate key messages.
  • Lead media relations strategy across the UK & Ireland, building relationships with tier‑one trade and national journalists.
  • Deliver external communications plan with speaking opportunities, content creation (speeches case studies).
  • Elevate brand presence through strategic storytelling and content creation on website and social media.
  • Develop and oversee crisis communication protocols.
  • Monitor and assess communication effectiveness using metrics and analytics, reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
Ideal Candidate
  • Graduate calibre with strong experience in a large matrix organisation.
  • Professional communications generalist delivering a 360 external/internal programme.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, operating at all business levels.
  • Proven track record securing high‑impact coverage in top‑tier national and trade media.
