About the role

We're seeking a proactive and influential individual to join our team as Head of Commercial in our Recycling Division driving commercial excellence and contributing to our regional success in the UK. This pivotal role will see you at the heart of our UK sourcing and sales strategy providing critical commercial oversight and strategic guidance.

Your responsibilities will span several key pillars including creating the Commercial Vision for the UK business to directing the commercial relationship for our suppliers and customers. You will be instrumental in forming a close working relationship with the Finance & Operations functions as well as other key departments to ensure profitability targets customer satisfaction levels and to ensure our operational service levels are met.

New Business opportunities is a cornerstone of this role; from sourcing new opportunities to tracking the pipeline of new business opportunities you will be leading the team in creating and fostering strategic relationships with new partners. You will also create negotiate and close commercial agreements to ensure maximum profitability.

You will also lead the Commercial team by developing and supporting a high‑performing team ensuring clear responsibilities robust processes and strong attention to detail in the delivery of commercial results.
