Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity

Are you ready to take charge of a high‑performing team and make a real impact in Commercial Real Estate? You’ll lead our London & South Regional team of CRE Originators and Support Staff, driving quality investment and development real estate deals across both residential and commercial markets.

In this pivotal leadership role you’ll shape and execute strategies that fuel business growth while balancing origination portfolio management and risk. What will your day look like
  • Lead and manage a team of Originators and Support Staff to achieve CRE growth targets.
  • Support your team in generating new business and delivering excellent customer service to boost retention.
  • Oversee submission of new and renewal credit proposals to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Build and maintain a high‑performing sales team focused on meeting individual and team targets while managing risk.
  • Continuously update and apply market sector and regulatory knowledge to guide strategy and decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with the Head of CRE on strategic planning, risk management, product development and performance analysis to drive business success.
What do we expect from you
  • Significant senior management experience in a regulated environment focused on delivering excellent customer outcomes and team performance.
  • Proven experience working within FCA regulated T&C Schemes ensuring compliant and best practice business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of developing and implementing regulated sales processes that meet customer needs and are well understood by teams.

  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with experience managing cross‑Divisional and cross‑Bank stakeholder partnerships.
  • In‑depth experience in the CRE sector including presenting credit applications to senior management and understanding banking credit, legal valuation and loan drawdown processes.
What can you expect from us
  • A friendly and flexible culture the same as how we work with our customers.
  • A growing organisation that means there are lots of opportunities to progress.
  • A drive for continuous improvement which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
  • And of course you will be rewarded competitively with a good range of core benefits and bonus potential.

We welcome people regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background and whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.

The Company

We champion equality by supporting the exceptions to the rule and getting finance to where it’s needed. We lend the money people save with us to people who want to get on in life; build businesses and create employment; buy property for people to live and work in and purchase vehicles to move families and goods around.

Behaviour Framework

Our behavioural framework underpins our purpose and strategic drivers. It outlines the behaviours we need to demonstrate in order to succeed. Where our strategic drivers (Stay Ahead, Propositions, Relationships That Last and Progressive Platform) outline what we need to do to succeed, our behaviours guide us. In the second interview we will ask you to talk through examples of where you’ve demonstrated these behaviours in your previous roles.
