A leading B2B distribution business in Manchester is seeking a commercially driven Head of Commercial to support ongoing growth and strengthen the organisation's commercial performance.

This role blends strategy, insight, and leadership-overseeing commercial analytics, pricing, forecasting, and system integration while acting as a key partner to senior stakeholders. The position also deputises for the Finance Director and offers a clear succession pathway.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead a small team focused on delivering meaningful financial insight, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing the tools and systems that support commercial decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into action, improving processes, and working cross‑functionally to drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial reporting, insight generation, and dashboard development.
  • Oversee pricing and margin analysis, ensuring competitive positioning.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy through strong modelling and data use.
  • Support digital and system enhancements across ERP, CRM, and BI tools.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to influence strategic decisions.
About You
