Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior HE registry experience
• Track record managing sensitive casework or regulatory processes
• Experience developing, reviewing and implementing policies or governance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve student casework functions for Complaints and Conduct, Fitness to Study and related procedures.
• Provide expert advice to staff and decision-making panels on complex and sensitive casework.
• Oversee development, review and implementation of regulations, codes of practice, policies and guidance.
• Monitor sector developments and advise on implications for policy and practice.
• Ensure governance and version control for regulations and procedures.
• Depose for Safeguarding and Prevent Leads as required and support training.
• Develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
• Analyse casework trends to inform planning and decision-making.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management and committees.
