Head of Care

Location: Liverpool with travel across the North West as the role develops

Salary: £45,000

Hours: 37.5 hours

Job Type: Permanent

We’re looking for someone with loads of empathy, kindness and understanding of the people we work alongside, great leadership skills and a solid understanding of CQC regulations.

What your week may look like
  • Responsible for the effective operational management of our Care Service (Hestia House) and the growth and development of Care Pathways for people experiencing homelessness alongside a care need.
  • Line manage the Service Managers at allocated sites and provide day to day support, management, and leadership within the organisation.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring high quality services are delivered which meet CQC and all other relevant regulations and standards; audits, checks and balances will be part of your week.
  • Registered Manager of regulated care services (for CQC purposes), reporting to the Director of Specialist Services.
  • Spend time with the people we support and our frontline teams providing visible and effective leadership.

  • Experience of working in care services
  • Experience of safeguarding
  • Experience of working with adults with care and support/mental health needs
  • Experience of working with people who use drugs and alcohol
  • Proven track record of successful development of schemes and projects
  • Experience of managing compliance against KPI’s
