Job summary

Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service is seeking an experienced Veterinary Cardiology Specialist (Board-Certified) or residency-trained clinician to join our renowned cardiology team in the UK. You will provide advanced diagnostic services, including echocardiography and interventional procedures, in a fast-paced referral setting.

You will collaborate across internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, and diagnostic imaging to deliver exemplary patient care, mentor trainees, and help shape

Qualifications

• Board Certification (ECVIM or ACVIM in Cardiology) OR completion of a recognised cardiology residency program.
• Proven clinical experience in managing complex cardiac cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client care and team collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced referral hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with cardiovascular diseases, including echocardiography, ECG interpretation, and interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Offer clinical guidance and mentorship to interns, residents, and nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining diagnoses, options, and prognoses.
• Contribute to development of clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in veterinary cardiology.
