Job summary

Rosebery School, part of GLF Schools, is seeking an inspiring Head of Business Studies and Economics to lead a thriving department in Epsom. You will drive high-quality teaching, nurture student outcomes across KS4 and KS5, and support academic and personal development.

We welcome an experienced classroom practitioner who can motivate colleagues, advocate wellbeing, and contribute to a collaborative school culture.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching in Business Studies and ideally Economics.
• Proven track record of securing excellent student outcomes.
• Commitment to student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Studies and Economics department, driving curriculum development and assessment across KS4/KS5.
• Mentor and develop department staff, supporting professional growth and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to raise attainment and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Monitor and report on student outcomes, contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives.
