Job Description

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and innovation? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can influence change and drive performance? We’re looking for a Head of Business Management to join our Group Functions IT (GFIT) team – a central function that plays a critical role in shaping the future of our technology operations.

In this high-impact role, you’ll be at the heart of our IT leadership team, responsible for delivering best-in-class business operations, financial performance, and workforce planning. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to align our IT strategy with business goals, while leading a talented team and championing continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Leading cross-functional initiatives and championing operational improvements across Group Functions IT
  2. Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation activities
  3. Shaping and delivering the annual operating plan aligned with strategic priorities
  4. Overseeing workforce planning, recruitment strategy, and resource management
  5. Driving innovation and continuous improvement to enhance user experience and efficiency
  6. Owning and evolving the internal and external communication strategy
  7. Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align on strategic goals and service delivery
  8. Supporting and developing a high-performing Business Management team
Qualifications - Who we’re looking for:
  1. Demonstrable experience in financial and operational management within an IT environment
  2. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams
  3. Proven ability to analyse, interpret data and present management information to influence and engage senior stakeholders through the analysis of data across complex organisations
  4. Experience in workforce planning and resource management in Agile and Waterfall settings
  5. A strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  6. Lean Six Sigma experience
  7. Knowledge of IT governance, supplier management, and performance metrics
  8. Familiarity with automation, AI, and Microsoft 365 tools (desirable)
