With a diverse product range, CarpetWays offers LVT, laminate, solid wood, engineered wood, vinyl, carpets, artificial grass, and beds from renowned brands such as Abingdon, Cormar, and Karndean. The company also operates a wholesale division, FSL Flooring Scotland Ltd, based in Eastriggs. CarpetWays combines quality products with excellent service to meet the flooring needs of both retail and wholesale customers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Carlisle as the Head of Business. The role involves overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, managing finances, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met. The Head of Business will lead and manage teams, develop strategies for growth, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients. Additional responsibilities include analyzing business performance and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to evaluate data, business performance, and trends effectively
  • Financial knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Proven experience in Team Management and inspiring staff to achieve performance goals
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sales strategies and techniques to drive revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience in retail or home improvement industries is highly desirable
