What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll drive enhanced business performance and strategic outcomes through actionable insights and advanced analytics across a diverse and expanding data landscape. You’ll lead and develop a team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers, fostering strong collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. This is a high‑profile leadership role offering a unique opportunity to oversee the end‑to‑end business intelligence function and set the vision for data‑driven insights.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Business Intelligence, you’ll:
  • Lead the data strategy for the Motability Unit.
  • Provide actionable insights that help improve operational performance.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
  • Identify and champion improvements to data architecture to enhance analytical capability.
  • Drive best practice in data governance across the unit.
  • Deliver consistent, high‑quality reporting, presenting results and driving meaningful action.

Our hybrid model offers a ‘best of both worlds’ approach. When you’ll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 50% of their time in the office.

What You’ll Need
  • Ability to lead technical projects across large teams, delivering results on time and to a high standard.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in large, complex organisations.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality, robust reporting in a fast‑paced environment to support business decision‑making.
  • Strong people management experience, with a track record of developing and coaching teams.
  • Insurance experience is preferred, with an understanding of how business intelligence impacts operational performance.
