Location : Huddersfield with hybrid working

We have an excellent opportunity to join FMG as the Head of Business Change, to lead the delivery of high-impact projects that drive improvement across the business. Acting as a key partner to the board, you’ll shape and oversee a structured framework for managing change, ensuring projects are well-governed, clearly prioritised, and deliver measurable business benefits.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will guide Project Managers, Business Analysts, and the Portfolio Manager through all stages of transformation, from planning to delivery. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and IT to define objectives, streamline processes, and ensure change initiatives are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget. It’s an opportunity to influence the strategic direction of FMG, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and effective project delivery.

Salary - Up to £70,000 per annum based on experience, enhanced by a generous bonus and a company car / car allowance.

About You
  • You have significant experience leading business change, transformation, or large-scale programmes, and can demonstrate delivering successful outcomes
  • You communicate clearly, with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with people at all levels, including senior leaders and the board
  • You take a balanced approach when challenges arise, while maintaining focus on both strategic priorities and day-to-day operational delivery
  • You have experience bridging the gap between IT and the wider business, explaining complex or technical concepts into clear, actionable plans
  • You’re a proven people manager, able to lead, motivate, and develop teams to deliver high-quality results
  • You have well developed financial and business insight, with the ability to manage budgets, assess risks, and make informed, commercially focused recommendations
  • You’re organised and analytical, able to prioritise competing demands, evaluate business requirements, and produce clear, logical documentation
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and are committed to driving continuous improvement, innovation, and excellent service delivery across the business
