Job summary

The Royal College of Music seeks a Head of BMus to provide outstanding programme leadership and oversee the undergraduate student experience. The role focuses on delivering the new curriculum, collaborating across departments, and championing inclusive teaching practices.

You will bring substantial experience in higher education teaching and assessment, plus a proven track record in programme or subject leadership, with a strong commitment to employability and student entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of teaching and assessment in higher education.
• Strong track record of programme and/or subject leadership.
• Ability to lead curriculum development and enhancement while coordinating with faculties across the College.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the new BMus curriculum and oversee the undergraduate student experience.
• Champion inclusive practice in learning and teaching and respond to diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with faculties and departments to develop innovative learning opportunities.
• Support student employability and entrepreneurship within the degree.
