Allianz UK is seeking a Head of Business Intelligence to lead a high‑performing BI function and shape decision‑making across the organisation. The role offers hybrid working with office attendance 50% of the time, and significant interaction with the Executive Committee.

You will drive an outcomes‑oriented BI delivery, align analytics with business strategy, and partner with senior leaders to translate needs into actionable insights. A comprehensive rewards package applies.

Qualifications

• Leadership of large-scale BI/MI across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Shift BI from reporting outputs to measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into actionable insight.
• Define and embed end‑to‑end BI delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance and trusted data principles.
• Hands‑on experience delivering BI in an agile, iterative environment.
• Experience in insurance or financial services data landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire BI managers, developers and analysts, building a strong, unified team culture.
• Unify fragmented MI and BI teams into a single operating model with shared standards and purpose.
• Partner closely with senior leaders to translate business needs into actionable insight.
• Challenge assumptions and bring forward insight that shapes strategic decision‑making.
• Embed an outcome‑focused approach where insight is measured by adoption and impact.
• Champion trusted, well‑governed data and consistent metrics across the organisation.
• Continuously improve delivery through agile ways of working and innovation.
