We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Autonomous & Complex Systems Services to lead the delivery and future development of support services for one of the UK's most innovative defence programmes.
This is a highly visible role within our Underwater Systems Business Line, offering the opportunity to influence both current service delivery and the long-term strategy for autonomous and ‘As a Service’ maritime services.
As Head of Autonomous & Complex Systems Services, you will take ownership of the UK MMCM In-Service Support (ISS) contracts while helping to define and deliver the future support model for MMCM and wider autonomous maritime systems. Working closely with colleagues in both the UK and France, you will play a critical role in ensuring customers can successfully adopt, operate and maintain these complex capabilities throughout their service life.

Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
