Job summary

A leading adviser network in the UK is looking for a candidate to lead the strategic delivery of a first-line Assurance Framework. The successful applicant will manage the assurance framework for oversight of ARs while driving initiatives that align with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive regulatory knowledge and experience in leading teams with a budget of over £2 million. This position offers autonomy and a chance to implement impactful improvements within the firm.

Our client, an ambitious & growing adviser network, known for their inclusive & supportive culture, have a rare opprotunity to lead the strategic delivery of a first-line Assurance Framework. This role offers autonomy to shape oversight controls and develop a data-driven AR Intelligence Unit, driving continuous improvement and regulatory alignment.

The role will :

• Lead, manage & deliver the assurance framework of first line controls for oversight of ARs.
• Oversee regulatory reporting as part of the oversight of ARs, including annual self-assessment.
• Develop & deliver continuous improvement initiatives to ensure assurance standards are aligned to FCA expectations & best practice.
• Implement & evolve an AR intelligence unit to identify trends and drive actionable insights.
• Represent & present at key governance groups across the firm.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge & understanding of the regulatory requirements and expectations for the oversight of ARs and have proven experience in leading teams whilst managing a budget of £2mil+; with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
