Anchor, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people, is seeking a strategic leader to head our Asset Strategy and Data. This role is pivotal in shaping our property portfolio, driving data‑led investment planning, and ensuring our homes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development and implementation of our asset management strategy
  • Oversee stock condition data governance and reporting
  • Prepare forward investment plans and advise the Exec and Board
  • Drive decarbonisation planning and portfolio optimisation
  • Engage with residents to inform strategy and respond to concerns
  • Oversee property transactions and planning obligations
  • Build and lead a high‑performing team of c.20, including c.4 direct reports
What You’ll Bring
  • Strategic asset management experience in social housing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Expertise in data governance, compliance, and lifecycle planning
  • Degree and professional qualifications in relevant disciplines (Degree in Asset Management, Building Surveying, or Data Analytics, Professional qualifications (MRICS, CIOB, CIH Level 4)
  • Full UK driving licence or the ability to travel independently to sites and offices as required
  • Passion for improving housing quality for older people
