Join Us as Head of Asset Management - Shape the Future of Our Infrastructure Strategy

We're looking for a visionary leader to take on the role of Head of Asset Management, driving strategic oversight and operational excellence across our asset portfolio. This is a high-impact position where you'll lead cross‑functional teams, manage complex projects, and ensure our function is equipped to meet both immediate and long‑term organisational goals.

In this role, you'll be accountable for delivering key initiatives that support our business strategy, while fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and inclusion. You'll champion proactive behaviours, uphold company values, and adapt your leadership style to engage diverse audiences—from internal teams to external stakeholders including regulators, partners, and customers.

You'll be responsible for forecasting, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Your ability to anticipate market shifts and customer needs will be critical in shaping a responsive and resilient asset management strategy. Why You'll Love This Role:

Strategic Leadership & Oversight Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver operational excellence across Cadent's asset portfolio, ensuring alignment with both short‑ and long‑term business goals.

Asset Planning & Performance Management Develop and manage the Network Asset Management Plan (NAMP) and supporting Business Plan, ensuring delivery of regulatory outputs and obligations to bodies such as Ofgem and HSE.

Regulatory & Risk Compliance Oversee forecasting, risk assessment, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while supporting performance reporting across investment activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders—including regulators, partners, and customers—by promoting Cadent's values and fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Data‑Driven Decision Making Manage large‑scale data capture operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and use recognised decision support tools to guide strategic asset management initiatives.

What You'll Bring:
