You will establish architectural principles, AI-target operating models, standards, and governance frameworks that ensure agility and regulatory compliance.

• Extensive experience in Technology Strategy, Enterprise & Solution Architecture, with Fintech.
• Proven board-level experience implementing technology roadmaps in Financial services or regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in Payments and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agentic AI Architectures.
• Experience with EA tooling.

Job Title: Head of Architecture

Location: London (Hybrid)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £175,000 - £195,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining the enterprise architecture strategy across business, data, cloud, applications, and technology.
• You will establish architectural principles, AI Target Operating Model, standards, and governance frameworks that support agility and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with senior leaders to align technology direction with business strategy and product roadmaps.
• Experience working in a Fintech organisation ideally in the payments sector which is going through a digital transformation journey.

Experience

• Extensive experience in Technology Strategy, Enterprise & Solution Architecture along with strong experience in Fintech.
• Proven experience operating at board level implementing technology roadmaps in Financial services or regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in Payments and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agentic AI Architectures.
• Experience with EA tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF would be beneficial.
