Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Head of Applications & Delivery to provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation's application estate and digital delivery portfolio. You will ensure secure, resilient, and fit-for-purpose applications while driving technology change to support business priorities.

Reporting to the CTO, you will build high-performing teams, govern major programmes, manage suppliers, and deliver measurable outcomes with strong governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience leading enterprise applications and digital delivery.
• Experience managing large and diverse application portfolios across enterprise systems.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the application and digital delivery strategy.
• Lead the management of the application portfolio including lifecycle, performance and resilience.
• Oversee major technology and digital programmes with governance and benefits realisation.
• Ensure effective application support, change and release management.
• Collaborate with architecture, data, security and operations for integrated delivery.
• Lead strategic supplier and partner relationships for value delivery.
• Build high-performing application and delivery teams.
• Provide senior leadership with insight into performance, delivery, investment and risk.
• Drive continuous improvement in management practices and tooling.
