About the role

The Head of AI Governance and Control will be part of the CIO Change and Governance Leadership team. This role provides independent oversight across the end-to-end AI lifecycle, creating a single governance function that delivers transparency, accountability and control assurance for all AI initiatives across the organisation.

You will operate as the central point for monitoring, prioritisation, decision-making and reporting of AI activity across the organisation, ensuring that AI solutions generate value whilst remaining compliant with regulatory, legal, security and ethical requirements.

About you

• Significant experience in a fast-paced and constantly evolving market, with previous experience leading and delivery AI projects as well as a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Detailed financial and analytical abilities, inquisitive nature and not settling until all questions answered and understood.
• Articulate and have ability to analyse information and translate to team members, and equally take technical solutions and translate them into business terminology.
